RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last Updated: 17 August 2026
At Founsturt, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing products from Founsturt.store, including your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
1. RIGHT TO CANCEL ONLINE ORDERS
If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period generally begins when you receive the last item.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
You may contact us at:
Email: support@Founsturt.store
Website: Founsturt.store
Please provide sufficient information for us to identify your order, such as your name, order number and the email address used when placing the order.
2. RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION
After informing us that you wish to cancel your order, you must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your cancellation.
Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Do not send a return to an address shown on a parcel, packaging or shipping label unless we have confirmed that address as the appropriate returns address.
3. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS
You may inspect and handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would reasonably be permitted to examine them in a physical shop.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
If the value of the goods has been diminished as a result of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Where reasonably possible, we recommend returning products with their original packaging, labels, accessories and any other components supplied with the product. The absence of original packaging does not, by itself, remove any statutory rights you may have.
4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
For a standard change-of-mind cancellation made under your statutory cancellation rights, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that we informed you of this responsibility as required by law.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract, different rules may apply and Founsturt will comply with its obligations under applicable UK consumer law.
Please contact support@Founsturt.store before returning a faulty, damaged or incorrect item.
5. REFUNDS FOLLOWING CANCELLATION
Where you validly exercise your right to cancel, we will reimburse the payments received from you in accordance with applicable law.
This will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the relevant order.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option, such as an enhanced or express delivery service, we are not required to reimburse the additional amount above the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.
For sales contracts where we have not offered to collect the goods, we may withhold reimbursement until:
-
we have received the goods back; or
-
you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first.
Once the applicable conditions have been satisfied, the refund will be made without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.
6. METHOD OF REFUND
Unless you expressly agree otherwise, refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
We will not charge you a fee solely for processing a refund where prohibited by applicable law.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in your account.
7. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS
Your cancellation rights are separate from your statutory rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods.
Under UK consumer law, goods supplied by a trader must meet applicable statutory requirements, including being:
-
of satisfactory quality;
-
fit for their intended or agreed purpose; and
-
as described.
If you believe that an item you received is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us at support@Founsturt.store as soon as reasonably possible.
Please include your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may be requested where reasonably necessary to help us assess damage, defects or an incorrect product.
Nothing in this policy affects the remedies available to you under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including any applicable rights to reject goods, request repair or replacement, receive a price reduction or obtain a refund.
8. SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT
Where goods do not conform to the contract, consumers may have a statutory short-term right to reject the goods within the applicable period under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
For many goods, this period is 30 days, subject to the circumstances and statutory rules that apply.
Where this right applies and is properly exercised, you may be entitled to a refund.
This statutory right is separate from the 14-day cancellation right applying to many distance contracts.
9. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, you may be entitled to request a repair or replacement where goods do not conform to the contract.
Any repair or replacement required by law will be provided within a reasonable time and without causing significant inconvenience to the consumer.
Further remedies may apply if a repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful or cannot be provided within the requirements of applicable law.
10. EXCEPTIONS TO CANCELLATION RIGHTS
The statutory right to cancel may not apply, or may cease to apply, to certain categories of goods and services where permitted by law.
Examples may include:
-
goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
-
goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery;
-
sealed audio, video or computer software where the seal has been broken after delivery;
-
goods which, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature; and
-
other products or services excluded from statutory cancellation rights under applicable law.
An exception will only be applied where the legal requirements for that exception are satisfied.
11. SALE AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
Products purchased during a sale, promotion or using a discount code remain subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.
A discounted price does not remove a consumer's legal rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply to a discounted product purchased online, those rights will not be removed merely because the product was purchased at a reduced price.
12. EXCHANGES
If you wish to exchange an item for another size, colour or product, please contact us at support@Founsturt.store.
Any voluntary exchange service offered by Founsturt is additional to your statutory rights and does not replace them.
Availability of replacement products cannot be guaranteed.
13. ORDERS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at support@Founsturt.store.
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
your full name;
-
a description of the damage; and
-
photographs of the item and packaging where reasonably possible.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
14. INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a product that is different from the product you ordered, please contact us at support@Founsturt.store.
Where Founsturt has supplied the incorrect item, we will provide an appropriate remedy and will not require you to bear return costs where doing so would conflict with your statutory rights.
15. LOST RETURNS
When returning an item yourself, we recommend using a tracked or otherwise verifiable postal service and retaining proof of postage.
This recommendation does not limit any statutory rights or alter the legal allocation of responsibility where applicable.
16. REFUNDS FOR GIFTS
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method unless another arrangement is agreed and permitted by law.
If an item was purchased by another person as a gift, please contact us so that we can explain the available options.
17. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at support@Founsturt.store.
Where we are able to stop the order before dispatch, we will process the cancellation accordingly.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may still have applicable statutory cancellation and return rights.
18. STATUTORY RIGHTS
This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including, where relevant:
-
the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
-
the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; and
-
the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy excludes, restricts or otherwise affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable consumer law, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.
